Twitter feeds for Catholics
December 1, 2013
This is a supplemental resource for readers of Transforming Parish Communications.
In research for writing Transforming Parish Communications and for building this website of resources, I haven't found what I consider a "definitive" list of Twitter feeds for Catholics to follow.
So below, I'll share a list of those that I follow on my own Twitter account. Generally to build my list, I started to follow certain Catholic publications and Catholic authors that I like, then I would go into who they are following and then I chose to follow many of them too. I also pay attention to who those I follow retweet and then choose to follow many of those authors too.
Please consider the links below to be a decent "starter" list but not a "definitive" list either.
If you are aware of a good and comprehensive list, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Starter list of Twitter Feeds for Catholics
US Catholic Church
I recommend you go to @USCCB and to @EWTN and see the dioceses they follow.
I recommend you start at your Diocese’s Twitter feed and look at which parishes they are following in your diocese and neighboring dioceses. Follow those parishes and check out which parishes each of them are following.
