About John Harper
John Harper was named the Host of Morning Air on Relevant Radio in an announcement this week. Harper will make his debut on Morning Air, the longest-running morning show in Catholic radio, on Monday, July 28th.
About his new position at Relevant Radio, Harper said, “Believe me when I say I wake up each day and can’t believe I get the opportunity to be on the network that has helped me so much in my spiritual growth over the past four years.”
Harper lives in Connecticut and has over forty years of experience in Broadcast Media. In 1985, he became ESPN’s first News Director and rebuilt the network’s “Sports Center” broadcast into the number one source for sports news in North America. During his years in radio, Harper has hosted morning talk shows in major networks across the country and has made it a priority to give back to his community, receiving several awards for his dedication to worthy causes.
About Scot Landry
Scot Landry is a Catholic executive who has led numerous organizations including Catholic Voices USA, iCatholic Media, The Catholic Foundation of the Archdiocese of Boston and Boston Catholic Conferences. He now provides executive recruiting, consulting and coaching services to Catholic organizations and leaders at Good Catholic Leadership Group. He is the former Cabinet Secretary for Catholic Media at the Archdiocese of Boston, where he established and grew its new media ministry.
He is a graduate of Harvard Business School and Harvard College, a former Chief Operating Officer for Eze Castle Software and Eze Castle Integration, a management consultant at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and Parthenon Group, and a brand manager at P&G and James River Corp (now Georgia Pacific).
He lives in suburban Boston with his wife and three children.
Scot's first book, Transforming Parish Communications: Growing the Church through New Media, was published in August 2014 by Our Sunday Visitor.
Scot is active in growing Catholic Radio. He hosted a daily radio program for 3.5 years called The Good Catholic Life. Podcasts of all 750 episodes are available on its website. He is also actively involved as an board member of 1060 Catholic Radio in Boston.
